I am James Ford and my story has started over 10 years ago, when I have decided to learn trading by myself. Through trial and error and trying out many different ways of trading, I have spent over 10,000+ hours backtesting the markets until I have finally found the way that worked the best for me. My approach to trading is very simple, focusing purely on price action and market structure. The road to becoming a successful trader was long and required a lot of consistency with my approach to the markets, taking me somewhere around 2 years since the beginning of my journey to become a profitable trader.

I started posting my journey on Instagram in 2015 which gained a lot of interest from people all over the world and eventually resulting in requests for personal mentorship. At the beginning, I would teach people for free, making sure my way of teaching was actually applicable and after seeing my very first students succeed, I have decided to start Technical FX in 2016 which continues to grow, now consisting of a large community from all over the world.
